Parent Involvement Committee

All Schools have a Parent Involvement Committee comprised of parents and school personnel. The PIC will convene for the purpose of developing the School Plan for Parental Involvement. Parents will be notified of the policy and the subsequent plan via easily understandable written correspondence.

Monthly PIC meetings will be held every second Monday at 6:00PM. ( If the second Monday falls on a Holiday, the PIC meeting will be held the following Monday of that month)

Parents are encouraged to be involved in an organized, on-going, and timely way, in the planning, review, and improvements of the school's Parent Involvement Policy and the joint development of any other plans, policies, and procedures. Upon request, a language interpreter will be provided for translations. The PIC policy and the subsequent plan will also be made available to the local community, and updated periodically to meet the changing needs of parents and the school.
